All Majorcan butchers have sobrasada and longaniza (long pork sausage), soft of spicy (distinguished by red or white piece of string), high quality products. Porc negre or black pork is considered the best specie, the native variety from Mallorca.
Sobrasada from Montuiri, in the center of the island, is also specially valued. You will also find in weekly traditional markets sobrasada home-made in local peasant farmers, each of which with their own receipt.
