Cuisine with a different touch

In south-east Mallorca, in unspoilt beach Es Trenc, Flor de Sal d’Es Trenc is cultivated under favorable conditions. Natural sales extracted by a traditional way: in water surface some crystal pieces are formed with flower shapes and they are extracted with rakes and then, dried by sun.

Since 2004 innovative varieties have been introduced: Flor de Sal Olivas (with black olives Kalamata), Flor de Sal Mediterranea (with Mediterranean herbs), Flor de Sal Hibiscus (with dried flowers hibiscus), Flor de Sal Sri Lanka (with a mixture of curry and exotic spices) and Flor de Sal Rosa (with rose Gallica petals, Sechuán pepper and black pepper from Sarawak).

These five new varieties are distinguished by their aromatic sales and their high herb and spices content (up to 30%). There is also a “limited edition” for nouvelle cuisine lovers with fresh and seasonal products from local eco farms. There are four types: Flor de Sal Limón & Lavanda, Flor de Sal Orange & Chilli; Tomate & Hinojo de Mar, y Remolacha. You can find it in specialized stores or purchase directly in the webpage:
